A price or product that looks wrong
This is the most useful message you can send us. Every price on this site is a
range rather than an exact figure, because exact figures go stale within weeks. We
re-check products on a schedule, but readers almost always notice a discontinued
item or a changed price before we do. If a link sends you to the wrong size, a
different product than the one described, or something that is no longer available,
tell us which article and which product and we will fix it.
Questions about a recommendation
If you are stuck between two picks, or unsure whether something suits your dog’s
size, ask. We would rather talk you out of a purchase than have you buy the wrong
thing. Useful details: your dog’s weight, height at the shoulder, and chest girth —
those three numbers decide fit far more reliably than breed does.

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, request a copy, or ask us to

or advertising trackers at all.
What we cannot help with
We cannot give veterinary advice, and we will not try. Our health articles are
written to help you have a better conversation with your vet, not to replace one. If
something is wrong with your dog, please speak to a veterinarian rather than to us.

is funded, and we would rather say so plainly here than bury it.
What it does not buy: placement. No manufacturer pays us to be included, to rank
higher, or to be described more kindly, and we do not accept sponsored posts. Picks
are chosen from what is actually available and suitable for large and giant breeds —
which in practice means we check the listed size and weight capacity rather than
trusting a product title, because titles routinely oversell. Several products have
been removed from these guides for being the wrong size despite being marketed for
big dogs.
If you think a recommendation is wrong, say so. We would rather correct a guide
than defend it.
